Stirling's Festival of Volunteering 2018

Thank you to everyone who supported this years Festival of Volunteering.

Building on last years success, we saw a significant increase in participation from third sector organisations, local and national charities as well as Stirling community.

The Festival ran from 19th – 25th September with various events from conferences to celebrations, one of which was the Festival Family Day which attracted over 2500 to Kings Park with over 30 local organisations and charities taking part.

The Festival drew to a close with a sold out youth conference in conjunction with the Year of Young People 2018. Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Local Government, Aileen Campbell MSP, backed the European Volunteering Capital 2020 bid. You can also add your support to Stirling’s bid here.

The Festival of Volunteering will be returning in 2019, subscribe to our newsletter for future updates.
