‘Creating a More Inclusive Future for Youth Volunteering’ Conference

Date: Tuesday, 25th September
10.00am – 4.00pm
The Tollbooth, Jail Wynd, Stirling, FK8 1DE
Led by:
Volunteer Scotland and Partners

This interactive and action focused conference is targeted at those who want to make youth volunteering in Scotland more inclusive. We know that young people living in areas of deprivation and those who have a disability are much less likely to volunteer. However these young people can often have the most to gain from volunteering.

The conference will bring together practitioners, young volunteers, policy makers and researchers to discuss the challenges and solutions to engaging young people as volunteers. Co-designed and co-delivered by young people, the event will be an integral part of the Year of Young People 2018.
